Euro-Line Solar has formed an exclusive partnership in order to promote the Dorfmueller Solaranlagen DMI inverter series to the UK solar photovoltaics market. Through this agreement, Euro-Line Solar will become the sales and marketing extension for the UK. The DMI inverters, manufactured for the on-grid photovoltaic solar market, have been introduced in-line with the newly announced feed-in tariff scheme in the UK.
The current unavailability of inverters in the UK has caused many UK project developers and installers to lose revenue as their projects are delayed or even cancelled. Euro-Line Solar expects to assist UK firms in getting some of these projects back online for Q2 and Q3 of 2010.
The new UK feed-in tariff scheme has formed a backlog of inverter shipments from global manufacturers as the market begins to expand. “This is especially true for smaller inverters with a maximum capacity of 1.2kW,” said Euro-Line Solar. The DMI inverters fulfill this market requirement and offer inverter solutions for systems as small as 150W, or can be coupled together for larger arrays.
