Wealden Bowls Centre in East Sussex has just received installation of a 9.88kW photovoltaic (PV) system by Gatwick Solar.

Completed in just five days, the system was installed on the seamed roof using 40 Samsung LP C247 monocrystalline panels and a SMA 10000 Tri power inverter.

Gatwick Solar also included Phoenix surge protection units for additional defence against potential lightning strikes.

Not only will the system reduce around 3,440 of CO2 per year, the club and its members will benefit from the feed-in tariff (FiT) earnings set to pay out £129,110 over 25 years.
