GreenDeal.net, a newly-launched website, will ensure installers and customers get higher quality products at more competitive prices. GreenDeal.net was set up to help promote the wider deployment of renewable energy products by giving installers support, training, branding and new products to help build a successful business.
The new website will allow consumers and businesses considering a solar PV or heat pump installation to connect with local independent installers, providing free business leads to member organisations. Installers will benefit from group buying power through partner manufacturers including REW Solar, ClimateMaster and Helional Solar Thermal Systems. Twenty percent of GreenDeal.net’s profits will be allocated to PR and marketing activity for clients, to help drive interest in solar PV and heat pump installations across the country.
Richard Williams, Founder of GreenDeal.net, believes Government’s Green Deal scheme – due to launch in October, will drive new interest in renewable solutions for homes and businesses alike and could create up to 250,000 new jobs. “Green Deal is the greatest home improvement initiative since the end of World War II and as such consumer protection will be vital to underpin the success of the Green Deal” he explained. “We have vetted installers from around the UK & Ireland and manufacturers from across the globe to provide the best possible products and services.”
A cornerstone of GreenDeal.net’s company ethos is that satisfied customers will lead to improved repeat business and referrals. As a result, all GreenDeal.net installers must achieve a 93 percent satisfaction rating to remain part of the group.
The company has also announced a partnership with The Green College in Birmingham, whereby members will receive discounted installer courses on any of the renewable installer courses the college offers.
