UK solar PV specialist the Green Electrician is set to launch the ‘GreenKit’ – a solar PV kit web shop making the installation process more easier, at the Solar Power UK conference next week.
The ‘GreenKit’ will supply and distribute complete solar PV kits to Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MSC) installers and contractors. It will also offer bulk buy modules, accessories, a bespoke design service, technical helpline and full training support for installing GreenKit products.
The kits pre-designed and partly assembled to streamline the installation process and reduce time on site are ideal for large housing projects as well as single installations.
“GreenKit offers a comprehensive way to install Solar PV in the future, taking out the hassle of sourcing all the components separately,” Rupert Higgin, Managing Director of The Green Electrician Group said.
“The kits have been designed by our own experienced electricians and roofers who understand what it takes to install a productive solar PV installation efficiently,” he added.
The kit includes innovative, time saving ideas such as a preassembled, fire proof inverter board, complete with switches, inverter frames and cabling ready for mounting.
The company is already supplying over 200 kits a week for housing associations, and the launch of the GreenKit web shop will open it up to all installers and contractors in the UK.
The Green Electrician Ltd. is a guest speaker at the three-day Solar Power UK conference and exhibition opening on October 26, in Birmingham. The company will make a technical presentation on the use of solar PV kits.
The conference, one of the UK’s biggest solar events, organised by the Solar Power Portal brings together over 165 organisations in the industry.
