Hanwha Q Cells has released its maiden monocrystalline module series featuring half-cut sells in Europe.
The leading solar cell producer has brought the Q.PEAK DUO-G5 series to the European market for the first time, boasting maximum electricity yields and the lowest levelised cost of electricity the manufacturer has been able to provide.
Two versions of the product are to be available in Europe; namely the DUO-G5 in capacities up to 330Wp and the BUL BLK-G5, featuring a black back sheet and frame, available in power classes up to 320Wp.
The monocrystalline panels contain half-cut cells with six bus bars and utilise Hanwha’s Q.ANTUM cell technology to provide higher efficiency and minimised degradation.
Maengyoon Kim, EU sales head at Hanwha Q Cells, said the company believed the panels to be the best product in terms of Euro per kWh on the market.
“Its price performance ratio will make the Q.PEAK DUO-G5 series enormously attractive to residential customers as well as to small and mid-sized companies who seek to effectively lower their energy bills with solar power.
“This product will be a driver behind Hanwha Q Cells´ attempt to become the clear solar market leader in Europe in 2018,” he said.
