This grid connected roof mounted PV system, installed at Hawthorns School in Berkshire, has been installed and commissioned by Ardenham Energy after development work by TV Energy and Wokingham Borough Council.
The installation was completed following the award of a Low Carbon Building Program Phase 1 Grant and planning approval by Wokingham Borough Council back in September 07.
The 2kWp array will generate around 1600kWh of solar electricity each year. The installation includes a display in the reception area that outlines real-time energy production as well as cumulative kilowatt hour and CO2 savings.
