The Scottish energy storage developer, ILI Group has announced a sales tender for a 50MW battery energy storage system (BESS) in Scotland.
The ‘Dyce’ project has a connection date of September 2025 with the sales tender opening to expressions of interest until 28 April and non-binding offers until 12 May 2023.
“We are thrilled to offer our 12th battery storage project 'Dyce' to the market. This new project offers a unique opportunity for the right developer in the battery storage sector, with a 50MW capacity and a connection date of September 2025,” said Mark Wilson, ILI Group’s CEO.
“Energy storage projects like Dyce are a crucial component of the energy transition and the drive towards a net-zero future.”
Last year, ILI secured planning consent for another 50MW energy storage projects in Cathkin, Scotland.
ILI are also exploring hydro storage developments, having begun the initial planning phase of the 1.5GW Balliemeanoch project at Loch Awe, Dalmally in Argyll and Bute.
