Chinese module manufacturer Jetion has secured an order totalling 46MW for two solar farms in the UK.
The engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor for the projects is German firm CTF Solar.
Delivery of the modules will be completed before the end of the year, with installation and connection anticipated before the cut off date for the renewable obligation scheme at the end of March.
Both Jetion and CTF Solar are subsidiaries of China Triumph International Engineering Company, which is in turn part of state-owned China National Building Material (CNBM) Group.
“Our collaboration with CTF Solar began last year, our 10-years of experience in manufacturing and our ability to deliver large volumes of high efficiency and quality modules in short time convinced our client. We are confident that Jetion solar will continue to grow our presence with our partners in UK market,” said Jim Sun, CEO, Jetion Solar.
In October, CTF announced that it had connected the 6MW Pentre Farm project in Wales and the 10MW Hayford Farm near Shrewsbury.
