Global solar distributor, Libra Energy, has announced a partnership agreement with Canadian Solar, one of the world’s largest solar PV manufacturers. The terms of the agreement will see Libra Energy’s UK arm, based in South Yorkshire, become an authorised reseller of Canadian Solar PV products.
Libra Energy, which operates in the USA and the Benelux countries as well, hopes that the inclusion of Canadian Solar’s wide range of products will help add further quality to its portfolio.
“We are very pleased to become an authorised reseller of one of the market leading solar module manufacturers. By combining Libra Energy’s local know-how and strong technical skills with Canadian Solar’s premium products we really believe we have a first class proposition for customers, whether they be large or small”, said Paul Bradbury, General Manager of Libra Energy UK.
Ivan Rubio, General Manager Europe of Canadian Solar, added: “Since we launched the Authorized Reseller Program in April of this year it has gone from strength to strength. Libra Energy is a perfect example of the type of well-established and trusted player in the UK solar market that we always look to engage with.”
Libra Energy UK will be showcasing its new range of Canadian Solar modules at stand C26 at the upcoming Solar Power UK 2012 show on October 2-4.
