Germany-based photovoltaics system provider MAGE solar has entered the UK solar market with the entrance of its own sales representatives in Britain. Effective February 1, MAGE Solar, part of the globally operating MAGE Group, will be offering a portfolio designed specifically for the British market with high-quality MAGE Powertec modules, intelligent MAGE Safetec installation systems and high-performance brand-name inverters on-site.
“Britain's goal is to derive at least 30% of its energy from renewable energy sources by 2020. Photovoltaics play a key role in the pursuit of this goal. The British government has recognized this. The stable subsidy system in place makes the British market attractive for our business,” said Norbert Philipp, Chief Executive Officer of MAGE Solar. “As a system provider with individual solutions for a wide variety of needs, customer proximity is the key to our success. This is why we now have our own representatives on location in Britain.”
This new involvement in the British market adds to the company’s existing 11 sales representative office locations around the world.
