Solar PV wholesaler, Metgen, has launched a new webshop, Trade.Metgen, providing 24/7 pricing and stock availability information to its customers.
The new online portal allows customers to order anything from the company’s range, from individual components to complete kits.
Commenting on the launch, Ed Webb, managing director of Metgen, said: “It’s a great tool for us and our existing installers and will allow us to bid for new business that only want to buy online. Historically, a lot of what we have built our business on is guiding installers, talking them through the various options – for them, we're still here on the end of the phone – business as usual. But even those guys will need to order something in the evening, or at the weekend and for that reason alone, I'm sure it will benefit to all.”
Tim Roebuck, Metgen’s sales and marketing manager added: “It’s a must in the current market with rapidly changing prices and availability, it not only allows us to communicate our latest and best pricing, but also our up to the minute stock availability. I would encourage our customers to check back regularly – things change all the time!”
