MPrime, Martifer Solar’s photovoltaic distribution branch, has received accreditation under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme for its crystalline photovoltaic (PV) module. Awarded by the British Standards Institution (BSI) the Kitemark license means the company’s product is now eligible under the UK’s feed-in tariff scheme.

Pedro Alves, MPrime’s General Manager said, “With this prestigious certification our module has stepped ahead of its competitors and, most importantly, will allow MPrime to offer added value to its clients, especially in the British market.”

MPrime’s catalogue includes its own manufactured crystalline modules alongside alternatively branded solutions including plug and play PV kits and tailor-made mounting structures.

MPrime will exhibit at the Solar Power UK Conference & Exhibition 2011, held in Birmingham from October 26th-28th.
