Myriad Power, in partnership with Gable UK and Volker Fitzpatrick, has designed and installed a clamp system PV installation for the new Hoe Valley Community Centre in Woking, Surrey. The community centre was looking to generate 17,500kWh of electricity per annum, resulting in an annual CO2 reduction of 9.9 tonnes. The curved roof finish required specific design parameters; the challenge faced by Myriad Power was to provide a system capable of being installed on the curved roof without penetration whilst keeping the PV system as lightweight as possible for the new roof structure.
