Oskomera Solar Power Solutions UK (OSPS), one of Europe’s leading PV system integrators, has become the latest company to receive the British government's Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation.
OSPS is active in number of areas in the UK solar industry, including the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) stages of large-scale solar projects, distributing PV products and the operation and maintenance of power plants. The certification, which is a prerequisite in order to sell PV systems in the UK under the feed-in tariff (FiT), is an endorsement for all OSPS projects and is valid for 25 years.
The MCS certificate, which is acknowledged by the Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) for classifying energy in British homes, is an internationally-recognised quality assurance programme which assesses everything from design to installation of microgeneration renewable technologies, and certifies that the products meet the demanding standards.
