The Our Solar Future campaigners, which are planning a mass rally against the recently-announced feed-in tariff cuts, have today launched a video supporting their efforts.
The two-minute film outlines the potential destruction caused by the cuts, which are due to take affect from December 12.
“In 2007 David Cameron pledged his support for feed-in tariffs for renewable energy. On the October 31, 2011 his Government slashed feed-in tariffs by 50%. This move threatens 4,000 businesses and 25,000 solar jobs in the UK,” the campaign states.
The rally will be held from 1pm at the The Emmanuel Centre in London on Tuesday November 22. The lobbying will begin at 2.30pm at St Stephens Entrance at the Houses of Parliament.
