Parity Solar has completed a rigorous review of its manufacturing processes, materials, procedures and products, which was carried out in China by the British Board of Agrément, in order to receive eligibility to supply high quality thin-film solar modules in the UK solar market under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme.
As a global manufacturer of both crystalline and thin-film solar panels, Parity Solar aims to bring its success across Europe and Asia to the UK. The company is already planning a number of thin-film projects in England and Wales, with rapid growth expected in the coming months.
Alexander Gramm, President of Parity Solar, the Group’s European headquarters in Germany said, “Not only is the UK one of the fastest growing solar markets in Europe at present, but the climate is ideally suited to the use of thin-film rather than conventional crystalline modules. Using the extensive experience we have gained working with thin-film in Germany, we are very optimistic about the prospects for our technology in the UK.”
