Solar module manufacturer, Phono Solar, has now received accreditation under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) for three of its module offerings, significantly increasing its presence in the UK.
The company now offers its all-black ONYX modules, DIAMOND (previously: HEC) 250-265W U-Series modules and the F-Series 200-210W modules.
The accreditation of the ONYX modules is particularly significant for the company, as it can now offer a high efficiency, more aesthetic alternative to its other mono and polycrystalline panels.
Phono Solar ONYX modules have also passed ammonia corrosion, salt mist corrosion and fire test certifications and come with 10-year product warranties and 25-year performance warranties.
Commenting on the news, Mariana Hall, Vice President of Phono Solar, said: “Not only does MCS accreditation demonstrate the quality of our ONYX modules to the UK consumer, but also allows us to cater to the current demand in the UK for all-black panels.”
