Push Energy has added 92MW to its operational capacity following the completion of six solar farms throughout East Anglia.
The six farms were constructed by the developer’s in-house EPC Push Build and were connected to the national grid between 5 September 2014 and 20 March 2015, prior to this month’s ROC deadline.
The sites include three solar farms in Essex in Boxted, Gosfield and Langenhoe; two in south Cambridgeshire in Bassingbourn and Croydon, and an additional farm in Wisbridge, North Hertfordshire.
Stuart Bradshaw, CEO at Push Energy, said the firm was delighted to have brought the sites online in time and that the projects were now making tangible contributions in powering local homes.
The company is to follow up on these sites by constructing a number of other projects located throughout East Anglia with a total capacity of 30MW, with Push stating the work to commence shortly.
The new sites comprise a regional solar PV pipeline of 120MW and Push is also seeking out further developers and landowners to collaborate with.
