Investment management firm Rockfire Capital has set its sights on further growth in the European renewables space with the hire of a new chief operating officer.
Steve Croucher has joined the firm to build upon its recent growth having previously held roles at Border & Cie and Skandia Investment Group, which he helped launch in 2001.
Croucher is to be responsible for bolstering Rockfire’s presence in the European renewable energy, real estate and private equity markets and has been tasked with establishing the firm as a leading investment management company in the space.
Liam Kavanagh, chief executive officer at Rockfire, said the new COO would bring years of experience in the specialised investment industry.
“His appointment reflects our ongoing success and development plans, and allows us to continue to provide our investors with a first-rate service,” he said.
Croucher added: “I am thrilled to be taking on this new role. Rockfire is reshaping the energy investment industry and I look forward to helping continue this progress. Their reputation speaks for itself and having the opportunity to use my skills to support the business will be an exciting challenge.”
