This installation was mounted onto the slate roof of Mr Gerald Hagon’s home in the small country village of Alston, North East England.
Hagon’s solar photovoltaic system will make a significant contribution to his annual electricity bill and he has often seen his electricity metre go backwards.
The installation took one month from the point of initial contact through the order process and to the end of the installation.
The energy is fed into the main electrical distribution board of the home so that it can be used for general household applications and Mr Hagon will save on average of £127.55 a year from his energy bills and will earn in excess of £750.00 per annum through the up and coming UK feed in tariff scheme.
