BayWa r.e Solar Systems (previously DulasMHH) will be showcasing its commercial solar PV solutions at this year’s Solar Energy UK exhibition, at the NEC in October.
Key products include the brand new Novotegra mounting systems, which BayWa r.e. will be demonstrating at its Practical PV Area at SEUK; a general showcasing area for products bringing high quality, versatility and increased speed of installation. The most cost effective and popular solution has been the trapezoidal roof options, where Novotegra C-rail sections are connected directly to the roof surface with self-tapping screws. The roof remains watertight thanks to the use of EPDM washers and EPDM sealing strips.
The system can be used to install modules in both portrait or landscape configurations; in portrait the optimal layout involves the upper and lower rails being installed in a staggered configuration across the seams, distributing the roof load, creating enough space behind the modules for ventilation and crucially saving on materials. For landscape configurations small sections of rail are fixed at module fixing points, ensuring an extremely cost-effective but sturdy solution.
The system is lightweight and durable, quick and easy to install, ensures a secure connection to the roof surface across multiple seams even when under extreme load conditions. Novotegra has an outstanding price-performance ratio; it includes pre-configured fasteners for quick installation and has a deep rail which provides adequate ventilation and space for fitting optimisers or microinverters – all with a 10 year product guarantee.
BayWa r.e. Solar Systems will be exhibiting at stand D10 at Solar Energy UK 2013.
