PV manufacturer, Bisol will be showcasing its new Lumina PV modules at Solar Energy UK (SEUK) in Birmingham on 14-16 October.

The modules feature a transparent back-sheet which the company claims is suitable for more unusual PV applications such as skylights, greenhouses and carports.

The Lumina modules come in both mono- and polycrystalline configurations and are the same dimensions as standard PV modules. Lumina modules are available with sets of 28 to 60 cells and up to 270Wp of power output.

Bisol says that it can vary the space between cells to allow for different degrees of transparency, with 6-53% of the surface able to be made transparent. In addition, the Lumina range is available with Bisol’s Spectrum coloured cells. The company claims that the colour choice allows the modules to be matched with the building design – something that can be important for challenging installs such as listed buildings.

Bisol has also expanded its Spectrum range of modules with the introduction of a 250Wp panel. The Spectrum range of modules is also available in Bisol’s nine different colour configurations. Also on display at the company’s stand will be its Peak Performance panels now available up to 290W, premium 250W full-black panels and the company’s EasyMount mounting system.

Bisol is exhibiting at stand E55 at SEUK.
