Renewable energy technology equipment manufacturer, Kaco new energy, is showcasing the Powador-gridsave eco storage solution and Powador 60.0 TL3 inverter for the first time at Solar Energy UK.
The inverter is a transformerless three-phase inverter, available from 30.0 TL to 60.0 TL3. The only 60.0TL3 inverter can be viewed at stand H30 at this year’s Solar Energy UK, Kaco representative Richard Ortewell told Solar Power Portal.
As a small string inverter, Ortewell said the inverter is aimed at the UK gap in commercial rooftop installations, but can be used for utility scale farms also.
Kaco is also exhibiting the Powador Gridsave eco, currently in production and due to be available next month, the 4kW storage solution is aimed at residential installations.
Ortewell said currently the solution is targeted for the German market due to the subsidies available for storage, but is hoping to break into the UK market for residential storage.
Also at SEUK Kaco is exhibiting their expanded range of Kaco Powador 20.0TL3 inverter, and the new blueplanet 7.5 TL3, which will be available in spring 2014.
