Libra Energy has announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Chinese inverter manufacturer Goodwe to supply its products through Libra’s international sales outlets.

The deal comes after months of research from Libra, including factory visits by its technical and purchasing teams and live testing on its own solar PV arrays.

The first inverters will be available for collection or next day delivery from either Libra’s UK or Dutch distribution centres by the time Solar Energy UK starts on 8 October.

Libra is also working on a new website that will have an online webshop that will directly link to Libra’s sales and logistics system, this means that customers will be able to order goods 24/7 with the ability to make payments online and track their orders.

Paul Bradbury, UK general manager commented: “E-commerce is definitely the way forward and we are excited at the prospect of adding this important tool into our operation. We feel that this will open up new avenues of business for us, we will still remain committed to our principle of customer focused technical support and advice but for customers who know exactly what they want then this will be a great bonus.”

Libra Energy will be exhibiting at stand A30 at Solar Energy UK. Goodwe will also be exhibiting at the show on stand B30.
