Tier one module manufacturer Vikram Solar has boosted its credentials in the UK after completing OST Energy’s factory and product audit.
As well as scrutinising the company’s manufacturing processes and health and safety measures, a random sample of modules underwent a series of laboratory tests.
“We ensure a rigorous quality management for our products and are very proud that this pays off. The OST Energy audit helps our customers to realize their projects by obtaining the required project funding,” said Gyanesh Chaudhary, CEO, Vikram Solar.
The testing was completed at the IPSOL Energy PV laboratory in Nottingham.
“The numerous suppliers in the market can create confusion among customers. Following our tier one status this particular audit distinguishes us from other manufacturers and gives customers orientation to find the most suitable company and product for their needs,” said Davide Marro, head of sales and business development Europe, Vikram Solar.
