It’s exactly a week until the Solar and Storage Live 2023 (SSL23) conference and exhibition launches in Birmingham’s NEC Arena from 17-19 October.

Solar Power Portal’s publisher, Solar Media, sold the solar and storage trade exhibition to the international events company Terrapinn in 2018, but has maintained a presence at the event and will this year be based at stand R3a.

Members of the editorial team will be onsite throughout the event, producing news stories and conducting key interviews from the show floor.

Over 400 exhibitors from around the world will be present at this year’s free-to-attend exhibition, including SolarEdge Technologies which will be debuting its latest technological advancements at SSL23 from stand C8.

Residential Solar

SolarEdge ONE – a 24/7 energy operating system which uses data-driven automation to optimise the performance of photovoltaics (PV), storage, backup and smart home appliances, considering real-time utility rates, weather conditions, predictive analytics, electric vehicle (EV) charging levels, as well as system production and consumption patterns.

SolarEdge will also show new improvements to the SolarEdge Home installation and commissioning processes, highlighting faster and simpler installations for residential battery and backup systems.

The smart energy solutions company will also exhibit its latest commercial and industrial (C&I) product solutions, demonstrating new software technologies.

C&I Solutions

SolarEdge ONE for C&I applications – this cloud-enabled energy management solution incorporates advanced energy management software, intelligently overseeing system production, on-site consumption, battery storage, EV charging, time-of-use energy pricing, and grid considerations.

New Commercial Storage System – the company will be showcasing this system to the UK market for the first time. The highly efficient DC-coupled battery provides 58kWh of battery capacity and is designed to integrate with SolarEdge’s energy management ecosystem.

New SE-330K Inverter and H1300 Power Optimizer for community solar and Agri-PV applications – introducing the benefits of DC-optimisation and virtual central topology to the small-medium utility-scale market, SolarEdge will also unveil a new 330kW Three Phase Inverter alongside the new H1300 Power Optimizer and a solar tracker solution at SSL23.

“The next major efficiency gains in smart energy optimisation for British homeowners and commercial customers will come through innovation within the smart energy ecosystem,” said Amit Larom, vice-president and regional general manager for Western Europe at SolarEdge.

“At Solar & Storage Live, SolarEdge will demonstrate its leadership in this transition by unveiling new innovations in hardware and software –designed to deliver even more power and greater cost savings to our customers.”
