Due to a late surge in demand to enter the inaugural Solar Power Portal Awards we have decided to extend the submission deadline to midnight on Sunday, 21 July.

Taking place at this year’s Solar Energy UK event in Birmingham, the Solar Power Portal Awards will work to recognise the very best in the UK solar sector, encompassing all areas of the solar industry – from domestic-scale systems right up to utility-scale solar parks.

The awards will help distinguish and celebrate the good practice, professionalism, quality, safety and level of innovation that has catapulted the UK solar industry into one of the top five global PV markets.

Winning entrants will receive their awards at a prestigious presentation and gala dinner ceremony at the Hilton NEC, Birmingham on Tuesday 8 October.

The awards will be judged by a panel of industry experts and leaders from the solar, renewable and business worlds. Judges will use pre-set criteria available here to ensure judging is unbiased and entrants can identify the suitability of their proposed category submission(s).

  • Most successful large-scale solar site >2MW
