Today marks the start of the Solar Power UK roadshow: Coping with the Cuts. Recent controversial proposals from Westminster will see the level of support the solar industry currently receive drop dramatically in just a short period of time. As a result, the UK solar industry has endured a rocky start to 2012. Solar Power UK Roadshow: Coping with the Cuts is perfectly positioned to help translate these changes into everyday business activity and offer insight and solutions to the upcoming challenges facing the UK solar industry.

The Coping with the Cuts Roadshow is a series of half-day, informal events, designed to give the solar market a unique chance to quiz industry experts, get right up-to-speed with the recent policy changes and equip yourself with the necessary information to make sure your solar business is a success in 2012 and beyond.

Solar Power UK will tour across six towns in England and Wales. Each session will discuss the real impact of the FiT cuts and its cost-control mechanism, the implications of EPC requirements, how the Green Deal will affect the PV installer, and how the UK solar industry can remain sustainable into 2012.

Hand-picked solar industry experts will be taking to the stage to share their knowledge on a broad range of topics – from a senior FiT policy advisor to detailed analysis of PV pricing models.
