This year’s Solar Power UK conference and exhibition invites solar industry players at all levels to attend as students of its PV School and Master Class sessions. Industry newcomers will be given the opportunity to get started in solar, while those who already have a firm grasp on things can focus in depth on keen areas of interest.
PV School will unbolt its doors for the first time on the opening day of Solar Power UK 2011, running two classes throughout the afternoon.
PV School 101 will talk through the basics of solar, proving information on the myths surrounding the technology, existing skill requirements and policy explanations. The seminar has been specifically designed for those who want to get all the facts before entering into the every growing solar industry.
Running alongside an introduction to solar, School 201 will delve a little further into the UK solar industry. Session speakers will explain about warranties, monitoring and maintenance involved in PV as well health and safety requirements. PV School 201 has been designed to help existing MCS installers to get their business off the ground, moving them towards a successful solar future.
Also hosted at this year’s Solar Power UK 2011 for the first time will be two Master Classes, focusing on PV System Design and Transmission and Storage. Included as part of the main conference ticket, these sessions will provide interested parties with the opportunity to delve deeper into areas that will be touched upon in the main programme.
Solar Power UK 2011 has now confirmed more than 50 leading solar representatives to speak at the industry-renowned event. Now available online, the three-day conference programme offers insight into the future of the UK solar industry, looking beyond the policy decisions that have caused so much disruption in the persistently buoyant market.
