PV distributor Solarcube has announced that it has opened a new sales office in Birmingham.

The new office forms part of the distributor’s continued growth in the UK and will serve as a new dedicated office for the company. Fuelled by increased sales enquiries, the company has also appointed Debbie Cockayne as internal sales co-ordinator.

Talking to Solar Power Portal, Mike Bell director of Solarcube, said that the new developments represented an “exciting” time for his company and that Cockayne was a welcome addition to the team.

Solarcube has also revealed that it has agreed to stock South Korean manufacturer Solarpeace’s range of modules. Bell noted that the new partnership allows Solarcube to offer a “quality brand coupled with excellent value” which is what customers in the UK are looking for.

David Baik, overseas managing director of Solarpeace added: “We are very pleased to cooperate with Solarcube. This is a great opportunity to work with an established PV specialist who will give Solarpeace a dedicated profile as they specialise on a small number of panels.”
