EOS Energy installed a total of 2.59kWp for Dave Wise, Councillor for Southam, who wanted to utilise the solar power in order to bring his bills and carbon footprint down. The system is expected to generate an income of over £800 a year as well as cutting his electricity charges by £200 per annum.

“From an ecological point of view, my new system should save the same amount of CO2 per annum that a tumble dryer would produce if used once a day, every day for two and a half years,” explained Wise, who runs the Coffee Cup café in Southam.

A full survey was carried out by EOS Energy prior to the installation and the panels were then positioned according to a specialist design in order to avoid shadow produced by the adjacent house.
