Major PV module manufacturer, SolarWorld, has established its first sales office in the UK and has completed training courses with over 50 companies from all parts of the country. The new subsidiary, which will be supporting both distributors and installers, is based in Salisbury, south of London. SolarWorld announced the news during Solar Power UK being held in Birmingham this week.
“Whoever invests into a solar power system wants to be sure that he is spared any nasty surprises on the roof for at least 25 years,” commented Dr.-Ing. E. h. Frank Asbeck, Chief Executive Officer of SolarWorld AG. “This is why we, as quality manufacturers, rely on certified installers who competently advise end customers and who can carry out a professional installation.”
SolarWorld highlighted that it would also be offering the UK market it’s well known ‘Sunkits,’ which includes modules frames, cables and the system documentation. The company also highlighted its ‘Sundeck’ system, which can be integrated into the roof and does not require metal profiles.
