Nottingham-based renewable installer, EvoEnergy, has announced that it has secured investment from UK construction and civil engineering company, Stepnell.
The partnership will provide EvoEnergy with the necessary platform to enter both the Green Deal and ECO markets in addition to solidifying the company’s solar market share.
Following the announcement of the Green Deal, EvoEnergy has been exploring the possibility of offering a whole range of technologies in order to meet rising green demand. The company has placed a particular focus on external wall insulation in order to meet the growing demand from various sectors including the social housing market.
Commenting on the partnership, Dr Kevin Hard, Chief Executive, EvoEnergy, said: “This is a fantastic move for our companies. The innovative and nimble business model of EvoEnergy and the strong financial position of Stepnell will allow us to strengthen our position in photovoltaics and accelerate more quickly into the energy-efficiency market.”
As a result of the investment, EvoEnergy will be looking to fill a number of new positions across the company including, commercial sales, business development and engineering.
