UK solar company Sundog Energy has appointed 16 new staff members in the last two months, with a further six due to start in November. The company’s growth is in response to the rising demand for its solar photovoltaic products, systems and services.

The new posts are all based at Sundog’s Cumbria headquarters; however the company has also announced its intention to expand capacity in the Borders and South Lakes areas. Sundog has now opened two new regional operations in the South West and North East of England.

“The success of Sundog over the past few years is nothing short of phenominal! We’ve seen major growth across all sectors – from domestic installations on Cumbrian homes to farm systems and large commercial buildings, and also in our wholesale operations.  Our success is testimony to the uncompromising quality of the projects we deliver and the service we provide. This is, and always will be the ethos of Sundog Energy and is something we take very seriously when selecting new staff,” said Sundog’s Founder and Chairman, Martin Cotterell.

Established in 1995, Sundog Energy has installed hundreds of solar PV systems all over the UK, in the private, commercial and public sectors.

Sundog’s Founder and Chairman will be speaking in the PV System Design Masterclass at Solar Power UK 2011.
