EDF Renewables UK has found that the local population favours the proposed 800MW Springwell Solar Farm nationally significant infrastructure project (NSIP).
Two large-scale solar projects, Great North Road Solar Park and Botley West, have each passed individual goalposts in their journeys to beginning operations.
UK-based renewables developer Elements Green has said the Great North Road solar park could generate annual funding of “up to £1 million” for local community projects.
