March and April saw a “significant rise” in thefts and crime at UK solar projects, with 11 reported incidents compared with just three reported in February.
A criminal investigation is underway after four men were arrested following a break-in at a 3.7MW solar park in Overton, Hampshire, on the evening of Thursday 2 November.
