EDF places orders with Wärtsilä for two more UK battery storage projects

EDF Renewables UK has contracted Finnish technology group Wärtsilä for two battery energy storage system (BESS) projects.

Zenobē 200MW BESS operational, first to provide stability services for NESO

Zenobē has announced today that its Blackhillock battery site in Scotland, the largest in Europe, has begun commercial operations.
