A £4 million contract with Stockport Homes will see The Green Electricity design and supply 1,300 domestic solar PV kits ready for installation to the Stockport Homes Investing in Natural Energy (SHINE) project.
All system specifications have been pre-designed, and completed kits are delivered direct to site. Further streamlining the process, the company provides ongoing training and advice to ensure the installation and surveying teams work efficiently within the design specifications.
Mark Hudson, Director of Technical Services at Stockport said: “All of our customers will benefit from this [Shine] project, either through free electricity or returns from the feed-in tariff which will be fed back into improving energy efficiency in the rest of our housing stock.“
