The Solar Building Company has recently secured new distribution and support partnerships with Data Design System (DDS) and Sungrow Power Supply.
Under the agreements, DDS will deliver and support the Solar Building Company’s range of design software for use in PV solar projects in the UK, while Sungrow will import and distribute its range of inverters and accessories.
On the deal signed with DDS, Spencer Jansen, Technical Director of The Solar Building Company, commented: “DDS-CAD PV offer a unique ‘one stop shop’ 3-D design solution embracing all design stages from project conception through to PV yield analysis.
“The design time alone that can be saved using this solution is impressive and we are really delighted to be representing this product into the UK market.”
On the partnership with Sungrow, James Steynor, Managing Director of The Solar Building Company, said: “Sungrow offer the best range of inverters from China and are by far the largest producer in their country. They cover all power ranges from the largest central style through to smaller string size inverters.”
The agreement includes The Solar Building Company taking care of all technical support in the UK.
The Solar Building Company has also launched a Branded Distribution initiative, which is primarily aimed at the residential market.
“We have direct supply from our world class partner companies with modules from CETC-48, inverters from Sungrow and mounting solutions from Akcome. With their support we can offer a bespoke package of residential kits at a radically lower price point that that seen currently – and all tested together as a fully integrated solution,” continued Steynor.
“Local supply is handled by a network of regional Solar Building Company branded distributors who kit up for each specific install and then work with local MCS installers to deliver a truly local service and support solution.”
The Solar Building Company’s network of regional distributors now covers Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, Kent and South Wales.
