Solar PV manufacturing specialist Trina Solar has today announced the launch of the Trina Solar Training Academy, which will deliver online seminars and on-site workshops for distribution partners and installers working with Trina Solar products in the UK.

The Academy will run free-of-charge sessions focusing on the latest Trina Solar product information, while providing marketing and sales support and hands-on practical training.

Speaking about the launch of the new facility Ben Hill, Head of Trina Solar Europe, said: “Ensuring that our distribution partners and installers are always in possession of the most up-to-date information about our products and solutions, and helping them develop and apply their knowledge and skills, is vital – we want them to be in the best possible position to deliver the maximum benefits of our innovative PV products and solutions to end customers.”

The new Training Academy joins the UK team’s Trina Solar Partner Plus programme which launched earlier this year. Programme members who participate in Training Academy seminars and workshops will have access to additional partner status points.

“The Trina Solar Training Academy met with a very positive response when we launched it in Germany, and this valuable opportunity will help those working in the UK at a time of intense competition in the solar installation market. We anticipate developments such as the Training Academy, alongside innovative technology such as Trinamount, as key differentiators that will allow us to stay ahead of our competitors,” Hill continued.

The first online seminar, which will be held this Friday (July 6), will be run by Rolf Wurtz, the company’s Product Manager Europe. The first one-day workshop will be held in Chesterfield on July 10.
