UK-based solar module manufacturer Romag and renewable energy installer House Choice have celebrated the 11,000th PV installation completed as part of their three-year partnership.
Romag was approached by House Choice to design a solar module designed for customers wanting a more aesthetically pleasing alternative to the more traditional panels. The ‘Ultima Solar’ modules have now been installed on more than 11,000 UK homes.
Alistair Smit, Company Director at House Choice, said: “We took the strategic decision to partner with Romag as not only do they offer extremely high quality, market proven products but also allow us the flexibility to provide our customers the best service possible.
“Being local we were able to work with Romag to develop a product that fitted our customers’ needs precisely and are able to order quantities as required, reducing our overheads and in turn the costs we pass on.
“We are proud to support UK manufacturing and feel the fact Romag is here in the UK gives customers extra reassurance when it comes to honouring guarantees and warranties, particularly in such a volatile market.”
Phil Murray, Managing Director of Romag, said: “Our partnership with House Choice is unique in that it is a true collaboration both in terms of product development and after sales service, with the overall aim of providing a great offering to the end customer.
“We have been working together for around three years and have supplied thousands of panels to hundreds of satisfied customers. We appreciate the continued loyalty from House Choice and see this as a fantastic examples of what can be achieved by companies working together which is not only mutually beneficial but also benefits the wider UK economy.”
