Wagner Solar UK today opened its doors to UK installers as it officially launched the Wagner Academy training programme. Run by expert instructors, the school will provide product training directly to PV and solar thermal installers in a bid to promote a better understanding of the latest products and installation techniques.
The academy will also reflect Wagner Solar UK’s commitment to quality and knowledge transfer, featuring product training delivered directly by solar manufacturers. The first event will take place on May 13 and will feature the new mounting kits from Wagner & Co as well as PV inverter training from inverter manufacturer Fronius. Future events will also focus on solar thermal space heating technology.
“As the UK market continues to expand and MCS registered installer numbers grow on a weekly basis, we want to play our role in creating a strong reputation for the solar industry. Everybody knows that knowledge is power so by sharing knowledge of the newest products and systems available, installers working with Wagner Solar UK, have the peace of mind from installing the right systems with the right equipment,” said Wagner Solar UK Managing Director Carsten Pump.
Wagner & Co joined entered the UK solar industry back in October 2010 when it joined forces with one of the leading suppliers of photovoltaic equipment in southern England, AC Solartechnic. Under the joint venture brand Wagner Solar UK the companies work from AC Solartechnic’s office in Sidlesham, near Chichester, West Sussex.
