The refurbishment of Whitebeck Court in Manchester offered the opportunity for Myriad Solar, in conjuction with Wates Living Space, to install a bespoke solar PV system that maximised both the horizontal space offered by the roof and the vertical space offered by the south-facing façade.
The project consisted of 102 Sharp modules being mounted on a Schucho façade system to complement the 34 Sanyo modules on a stand-off roof system — taking the total installed capacity to 25.67kWp.
