Winaico’s newly-launched WSP range of photovoltaic modules has passed the strict potential-induced degradation (PID) tests of TÜV Rheinland with flying colours.

The German test centre subjected the modules to a negative voltage of 1,000 volts at room temperature (25 degree Celsius) over a period of seven days. In order to pass the test, a module’s performance must not decline by more than 5 percent. The Winaico WSP module’s performance declined by less than one percent,

Cheng-Lien Wang, Production Manager of Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd. Said: “The use of high-quality encapsulation materials and state-of-the-art plant technology at WINAICO ensures a consistent production of PID-resistant modules. The positive test result gives certainty to WINAICO customers, because the test confirms the nearly constant performance of the modules.” said Cheng-Lien Wang, Production Manager of Win Win Precision Technology Co., Ltd.
