American microinverter manufacturer, Enphase Energy, has partnered with Cambridge-based photovoltaic distributor, Dynamic Solar, to become the first authorised distributor of the Californian company’s microinverter systems in the UK.
The partnership follows the recent launch of Enphase Energy UK and its local office in Milton Keynes, which will be headed up by Paul Nightingale. Nightingale, Country Manager for the UK operation, welcomed the partnership with Dynamic Solar, stating: “After successful M215 Microinverter testing across the UK, our momentum continues with the appointment of our first authorised distributor: Dynamic Solar in Cambridge.
“Dynamic has extensive expertise in solar PV and will work closely with installers on the purchasing and timely delivery of the Enphase Microinverter System throughout the UK.”
Enphase’s microinverter system does not only consist of Enphase M215 microinverters but also includes the company’s Envoy Communications Gateway and Enlighten web-based monitoring and analysis software. As each module is connected to its own microinverter, the array’s modules can operate independent of each other – allowing greater flexibility when designing systems as well as increased yield. The Enlighten system operates much like existing web-based monitoring systems on the market, allowing installers to track the performance of an installed system with minimum fuss.
