European solar manufacturer, BISOL has announced that it will offer an extended 20-year warranty at no extra cost in the UK.
The manufacturer has timed the offer to coincide with the upcoming changes to feed-in tariff rates which will see the headline <4kW figure drop from 13.39p/kWh to 12.92p/kWh. Traditionally the degression of the feed-in tariff has resulted in an increase in demand for solar installs across the sector.
BISOL has confirmed that its Premium mono 250W full-black panel, PeakPerformance 285Wp full-black panel; and Project poly 265Wp silver-white panel will only be eligible for the offer. In addition, installers will order the modules by 30 June with a 10% down payment in order to receive the extended product warranty.
The manufacturer also confirmed that its extended product warranty offer will not impact its 25-year linear 85% power output guarantee.
