Sharp Solar has completed the installation of 3,000 solar arrays across Wrexham, in one of the largest council-led solar schemes in the UK. The £15 million project will see Wrexham become the country’s top authority for reducing carbon emissions and in the top ten percentile in the UK.

During the first funding round, which was open from 28 May 2012 to 4 July 2012, 72 projects were allocated money.
