Her Majesty The Queen has delivered her annual speech at the state opening of Parliament, setting out plans for her Government over the next 12 months. Brighton Energy Co-operative is set to a launch a pioneering project that will see local residents invest in a community-owned solar array. The array will provide the local community with locally generated green power and help fund projects designed to allow members of the community to reduce their energy bills.

A poultry farm in Lincolnshire has had a 140kWp solar array installed to help the farm slash running costs and carbon consumption. The install saw CTS Solar add an additional 580 modules and 8 inverters to an existing 50kWp array.

Van den Heuvel was previously CEO of Dutch solar PV company Scheuten Solar and ProxEnergy, a solar installation company and developer of smart-gird products and services. The Dutchman has over 13 years of industry experience, specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of solar for buildings and solar parks.
