Long Sutton Primary School in Lincolnshire now features a 9.66kW solar system, which was installed by Lark Energy. Local company Eco Building Products supplied the photovoltaic panels for the system, which is situated on the roof of the building.

MCS accredited solar panel manufacturer Sanyo has now extended the guarantee period for its HIT solar modules to 10 years. This increased assurance comes after only 50 modules out of more than two million were returned to the Hungary-based manufacturing facility by the end of March this year.

Ikaros Solar UK, which was set up earlier this year by entrepreneur Richard Tyzack, has achieved Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) accreditation.  The South Wales-based subsidiary in Technium Springboard in Cwmbran, Wales has been backed by the Welsh Assembly Government through a £500,000 grant from the Single Investment Fund (SIF) over the next three years.

Featuring 2,2021 Yingli photovoltaics modules, Group’s manufacturing building now features a system installed by Athos Solar, reinforcing the company’s environmental policy regarding sustainability, the society, its employees and the business sectors in which it operates.
