Last week (16 June) saw Voltalia inaugurate its largest-to-date UK solar farm through a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with City of London Corporation.
The City of London has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Voltalia for a 49MW solar farm in Dorset, in what it claims is a first of its kind deal in the UK.
The City of London Corporation is to deploy solar panels on a number of its buildings under plans that will see the governing body of the Square Mile source 100% renewable electricity from October 2018 onwards.
